Question OCWD? obssesive compulsive weed disorder!

Is it only me or is everyone else OBSESSED with weeds ever since they have owned tortoises? Where ever I go, im looking out for weeds, especially dandilions. When I am in the car I am looking out for them.
"Wow, I wish I could get thoses dandi's off of that roundabout" etc...
Maybe it is just me!

I've been shouted at before for grabbing some dandies from the edge of someones garden.. They weren't technically in their garden, but they thought i was grabbing their flowers.

I'm a regular kerb crawler in the car, looking for them

It's soooo exciting when they first start appearing in the spring

I Agree, while some gardeners may love roses I have grown to love my weeds love nothing better than the beautiful yellow flowers of the dandelion, or the blue of forget me not, or the purple flowers of vetch lol.

I'm the same! The neighbours think we're daft! You want to see us going to the shops, an eye on the ground for anything tasty Its weird. I came home with a half-full bag of dandelions once and mum was so . . delighted! But flowers are still gorgeous, even if they're not edible, we'll keep them round the garden for smell and decoration The only thing I don't like about flowers is that It attracts bumble bees

I don't know why I'm scared of them, really, then. They just seem scary. There was a queen bee in our kitchen, Thursday! Mum got it out. She captured it with the old fish net. I have no idea how she wasn't scared stiff!
