Hopefully the baby will soon absorb the yolk sac and be ready to come and join you. Fingers crossed everything goes alright and the other eggs are all at the same stage of development.
An amazing photo to be able to see just how the baby sits in the egg on the yolk sac. As a novice when Chester was still in the egg, I found it hard imagining how the baby, yolk sac, veins and membranes were situated, so that photo is really quite educational. Obviously it's not an ideal situation to have had to open the egg and photograph the baby like that, but I'm keeping everything crossed this little one safely absorbs the egg and then starts to attempt to hatch naturally. Good luck Alley - my goodness you deserve it! x
