It's so fraught with worry, hatching out these little torts, good luck Alley, I'm sure the little chap will be fine, just needs to sit still.

Wow....wishing you such good luck and patience of a saint right now. It's times like this when you begin wishing the hours away so you know the little tort is ok. Hope all works out well for you! My little tiny one is still tiny but still going strong.

Hopefully the baby will soon absorb the yolk sac and be ready to come and join you. Fingers crossed everything goes alright and the other eggs are all at the same stage of development.
An amazing photo to be able to see just how the baby sits in the egg on the yolk sac. As a novice when Chester was still in the egg, I found it hard imagining how the baby, yolk sac, veins and membranes were situated, so that photo is really quite educational. Obviously it's not an ideal situation to have had to open the egg and photograph the baby like that, but I'm keeping everything crossed this little one safely absorbs the egg and then starts to attempt to hatch naturally.

Blimey all these threads are stressful to me, i couldnt cope if it were to happen to me, im nervous about it all before i even start it!!!! im hopeless lol.

Seriously...Alison i hope this little one is ok, i dont know what its supposed to look like but it looks good to me, im taking notes of all these threads and advice for future reference xxxxxxx
