Default Please help guys

Unfortunatley i am going through some serious family problems at the moment and may end up moving , which means im going to have to shut down as a turtle rescue and rehoming facility
Which in turn means i have turtles in need of homes
Anyone who can help just shout i will have tanks avialable and maybe some equipment, but will need to keep some stuff as im keeping my snakes and torts cos there coming with me.
i need homes for
1 adult male common snapper 10 inch carapace ( experienced keepers/or one with lots of bottle only please im the only one out of everyone i know thatl handle this guy)
1 large adult chinese softshell 11 inch carapace ( ish) needs a large set up to be really happy and is recovering from a shell infection)
two adult female red ears
1 adult male yellow belly
1 adult male map
1 4 inch sub adult female yellow belly
i have a young map, a young black knobbed map,a young male red ear, female yellow belly and a sawanee cooter which all came to me with infections and still have them (just not as bad) which all need to go.
Thinks thats it for now any help will be well appreciated

So sorry to hear you are having troubles Lloyd.
I must confess that I know nothing about turtles.
Do you know of any good links as a beginner’s guide type thing?
Do any breeds stay quite small? And is it really important to have a pond or will some live happily in a fish tank type set up?

I wish you the very best of luck in re-homing them.

I have a pair of razor backed musk turtles they stay small ( wont get bigger than 4 inches if they even get that big) and only need a very basic set up, they live in an 18 inch square by 1ft high tank with water that is only 4 inches deep and have just a piece of bogwood to hide under and climb onto.
They have uv but not a basking lamp as there indoors and rarely bask anyway.

Hi I'm Interested in your last post. Would the turtles come with the tank etc? I have a keen interest in what ever animal I'm taking on so you could be sure I will look after them correctly. And they are lovely looking turtles
