lung worm ....
i have a new tortoise i have had now 6 months i have just introduced her to my other torts , and now she has had a poo with a worm in it ...ive looked it up and i think its a ;lung worm ...now im very worried about my other torts and my dog ...has any one else ever had this and how do the vets treat ....

I'm not sure what a lung worm is, but I would separate her from the other tort (and dog) and get her poo tested. Worms in torts is not a big issue and is normally treated easily...just find a good reptile vet and you'll be fine

3 to 4 inch worm
i am wondering now if it is lung worm , worm about 3 to 4 inches long thin white ....but you can hear her breathing and it is noisey .

Sounds like a round worm , but get a feacal done at the vets just in case.
If she has noisy breathing it could be because she is stressed with worms, but also if ill then resistance drops and worms can increase in number. Get a feacal done and have the tort examined by a knowlegable vet regards Andy
