Yeah the bulb sat just above the bars, practically touching. the cage is about 35-40cm is it did the job for a short period although yes it is normally should be lower. Could modify the cage maybe?!
Have you considered making a tort table and placing a mesh cover over it? |

Yes, that was my original plan but then I decided an indoor cage would be easier. Looks like it better be a rabbit cage with separate lights or a wooden table with the combined light.
Looks like I have some decisions to make. Thanks eveyone for your help. I would still love to see pictures of other peoples lighting arrangements if anyone else feels like posting one. |

Ok, here are a couple of pictures of my heat lamp:
[IMG][/IMG] You should be able to see in the above picture that the lamp is resting on the bars either side by the metal hanger attachment. [IMG][/IMG] From above, where you can see the piece of garden wire I mentioned in my earlier post. You could use more wire than I have to mkae sure it's completely secure. Hope those photos help! |
