The quicker its out the better it cant build up that way so keep on with the baths and hydration your doing a good job and keep an eye on it so you know when its cleared xxx

Bertie.... how long are you leaving Ollie in the bath for? I would suggest about 20 mins each session (leaving the heat lamp over the bath helps keeps the water warm)

Another little slice of cucumber should be fine too

i would keep up your rehydrating regime for a few weeks to ensure all the gritty urates are expelled

aprillinda, what can i do about "ollie" sleeping under his lamp he always goes
there and bury under there, the temp is 32c but you can't stop him can you

berttie im not sure on this one

how long do you think he basks under the lamp in a 24 hour period?

You could always put the heat lamp on a timer - to go off for a little while in the afternoon?

2 to 3 hours a day ... that does not seem execsive to me

in an earlier post it gave the impression that he lay under his basking lamp all day every day ..... which would add to the dehydration problem

ok thanks for all your help i did panic last night but after talking
on here yesterday i feel alot better thank god for this web-site
i am learning so much on here [i can't get over me being so
addicted all my mates think i'm mad ha ha ]
