Default My tattoo today

It's really bruised, it doesn't hurt but looks horrible. Is it normal, anyone who has had a tat?

Hmm not sure... My tattoo is on my back... never seen one bruise like that but then the ones I have seen are not on people who bruise so easily...

I think it is normal, my brother has a few and his looked a bit like that just after having them done. I think bepanthen baby cream is supposed to be one of the best things to put on them, a tattooist told me that anyway. Looks lovely by the way :0)

Make sure it Dont dry out. Use intensive moisturising cream. Mine never swelled like that but its on my leg. The swelling will go down im sure.

Thanks everyone. I am using Sudocrem.

Jackie, it doesn't hurt that much at all, go for it, you only regret the things you don't do in life.

Bepanthen cream like Cheryl says, is the best you can use. My brother has loads of tattoos he is a bit of an expert now and he always uses bepanthen cream and swears by it.
Not everyone will bruise, it depends if you bruise easily but it's completely normal if you do. Looks great by the way

Sudocreme will dry it out even more, you need to keep it moisurised.
