Ahhhh, thankyou Carl, that explains it and makes total sense to me. Marly is in a nicely heated room, yet sometimes is cold to the touch. Now I know why Simples Why didn't I work that out?

Ive been meaning to get one of the infra red ones for ages...
I dont really wanna check Lilys shell at 2am in the morning though....as I want my sleep. I NEED my sleep. But I do need to get one. ((I keep saying that.... wheres puntsatawny phil from groundhog day??)) |

You are! If you ever go and train to be a plumber it's one of the first thing you'll learn, women are 2 degrees colder than men and as such require water in a shower to be 2c hotter than men do. If you had water just hot enough for a man to be unable to keep his hand under, a woman would have no trouble doing it

Rach, just to say some of mine sleep in the "open" i.e. not under anything and not buried down and they're absolutely fine! They quite frequently change position too. Shells are always cold in the morning hence why they head over to their bulb for a nice warm up!
