Default Mega Ray Recalling Bulbs In USA

Have just been reading on Mega Ray's UV Reptile site, report to them if a recent purchase of a bulb develops a burning, peeling coating, apparently letting very high and harmful uv rays through the glass. Can damage reptile's eye's.
Don't know if any have been imported though. www.reptiluv.com click product's, click USA and Canada product founders, Reptile uv. If interested.

Burning and peeling where abouts Paul? This is a bit of a turn up...since they were supposed to be the dogs b's of combi bulbs!
bummer....
And also - how far back does this go? I got mine in October/November time I think - do I need to be worried? Do we need to be worried if say one bought one of these 9 months ago??

Will have to look at their site.

Not realy sure if it effects our batches, the coating can burn away and flake, i presume inside the glass, and the uv comes through, not at a safe rate, i have just seen this, so don't know how recent, will have another read, maybe Darren Dunage, can through some light on this, sorry no pun intended.
