Default Blubbing like a baby

My wonderful little dog, Teddy has gone in for his biopsy this morning and I cried my eyes out. He is always so scared of the vets and shakes like a leaf when we head down the road towards the surgery. Having to leave him there broke my heart. He must think we've abandoned him in hell.

Awe, I am sure he knows you are doing the best for him! It is always heart breaking having to leave them at the vets, that sad face as you walk away... But it is worth it!!
Even worse given the reason! I hope the results come back soon and that its good news!!
Dogs are a big part of their owners lives its heart breaking if even the smallest thing goes wrong!!
I will be thinking of him, and you, today and hoping for the best!!

Fingers crossed. All my dogs shake when I take them to the vets, and they wail, and won't even take treats off me, I hate it if I have to leave them there. I sit in the car and cry. God only knows how people manage with very poorly small children who have to stay in hospital.
Even our Wee Wee Wilf who has to be groomed four times a year, scratches the door of the grooming parlour trying to get out and cries. It is regularly very awful. Lucky for us, dogs seem to live in the moment, and so ten minutes after they leave the vets everything is back to normal and that's what I try to concentrate on. Lots of treats after the vets. Hope your little Teddy is ok. Let us know.

I just wish they would sedate/anesthetist them while your there. He is sitting in some little cage right now wondering what's going to happen to him.

Thank you all for your kind words. I will let you know how he is and the results, which should be mid week sometime.

Aaaah! I really feel for you and Teddy. I have two dogs myself and they are such a big part of the family. I hope all goes well with the tests and Teddy returns to full health soon.
Sending hugs your way.
