Default What laid these eggs?

I found these whilst clearing some damp leaves from under a shrub in the tort enclosure, they where in a sort of ball about the size of a marble until my OH dropped them!!

OH, I was expecting it to be something interesting!

They can go over the fence then

I have trouble seeing my tortoise eggs when I candle them so I would need a high powered microscope to see anything in those!
