is there any way that maybe your tort was really active because she was too hot? and now that you have changed things around she can chill abit because it is not so hot any more??

Hi,

My Golden Greek does this whenever she has a clean change of table etc..., she will sulk for a few days simply only coming out to eat then goes back into her pot to sleep again.

Try not to worry, the uvb should be where the basking lamp is as they usually spend a good bit of the day toasting themselves in the warmth of the basking lamp.

I Have just done the same thing and my tort doesn't seem as active but i agree with Bernard's mum, des seems more relaxed now and less agitated.
