Default Needle felting?

Does anyone do it? I have just started and it's really fun and interesting. This is what i've done so far.

Wow - that's fantastic! You're great at getting the detail on the face.
I have a couple of needle felted faeries hanging up. I've never tried it myself but I've seen a friend do it once.

Thanks Emma. It's good fun and not too difficult. Blooming hurts when you jab your finger though.

Loves this, it looks very clever to me, but I'm one good with a needle and thread.

You don't use a thread Suze. It's sheeps wool and a special needle that you poke in and out of it until it mats together. Have a look, it's so easy and you get amazing results.

OMG that it brilliant , I could do that. It would be a good way of getting rid of any frustrations ( stress relieving) I'm tempted to give it a go, where do you get the wool from ?

I bought mine as a kit from here. http://www.feltheadtotoe.co.uk/shop/.../needle-holder
I would advise you to get a needle holder and some extra needles as they break. And watch your fingers, don't do it while watching TV. My fingers are like a sieve with all the holes. You do get used to it and learn to keep your fingers clear of the needle.
