You should really get this seen to before it progresses. This does sound like it could be the start of RNS you should probably go and see a vet and they will most likely prescribe baytril.

Hi Gazfen,
Firstly I would like to say welcome to this great forum. In response to your post, as far as I know any moisture coming from the nare (nostrils) is abnormal, I don't keep leopards myself but there are some keepers on here that do. I am no expert but there will definately be others on with more experience who will no doubt put you on the right track but it sounds like a mild dose of RNS to me which is easily treated with a course of Baytril from the vet. Have you got a reptile / tortoise specialist vet near you? There is a list of recommended tortoise vets in the vet section. Hope this helps. Ade

Hello and welcome.
I would also advice taking your tortoise to the vets. But check for any foreign bodies in the nose such as grass. The best way to cure runny noise is by a nasal flush which involves bayril being dropped into the tortoises nose. Can you discribe your set up please? how long have you had your tortoise?

Hi there, have you noticed any gapping of the mouth when you pick your tortoise up.Or may be the tortoise keeps opening and closeing his mouth when you pick him up.

Does this happen after drinking?
If I were you I would keep the temperatures up, and get him/her checked by a tortoise vet.

I know that leopards can get runny nose very easy if their enviroment isnt right or if they have been mixed with other tortoises. Im sure with vet care your tortoise will get better.
What part of the country are you in as we could recommend a good vet.
