Default arcadia mvb problem

hi i've just brought my first 2 arcadia mvbs 100w d3 ones plugged them in last night and they was flickering and wouldn't quite kick in but eventually they did and went to check them today and the one the glass out shell had snapped off the interior and the screw bit any ideas?

I would check if the contacts in the lampholders were ok by using another lamp. If it works with another lamp I would send the arcadias back.

Goodness that's not great is it. Take em back they have a year guarantee!

both lamps fine tried with another bulb plus electrics are okay must be the bulb then not goot for 40 quid and it's destroyed after 5 hours is that. is it a problem that they don't light up instantly john?

All m.v lamps are handmade and variancies are very common. They will all take a few mins to fire up and reach full output, I'm afraid it's a limitation of the tech.
