I would cut out the bread as well, even if he loves it. He might forget about it, now that he is somewhere different

Just seen your other post on his weight... and he does seem under... i found it very hard too keep weight on my Algerians... when they were hibernated... i stopped that after 50 years of them doing so in an old ladies garden... and haven't had a problem since... you could also try him on butternut squash...

I will stop the bread.

How much pellets should I give him in weight?
Should I stop the banana too do you think?
Is butternut squash ok to give him daily or just once a week?

Pellets 1 to 2% of bodyweight, suppose he could have a few more if he's very underweight, banana not ideal as addictive & stops them absorbing calcium from diet, butternut squash is Ok but wouldnt give daily as he needs variety. I think there are other squash's they can have actually Lynne I seem to remember Danny naming them. may be worth a pm?
