Default Pre-Alpin

Hi All

Does anybody know if Pre-Alpin has a sell by date ?
I bought too much and still have a lot left over from last year.
I can't see anything printed on the bag, but I would have thought it would only have been good for a few months despite being dried ?

Thanks
Robert

I'm still using pre Alpin from last year and it's fine.

Not entirely sure. I got a 12KG sack from Agrobs around September and the Use by date is March.

so minimum of 6 months potentially...

But is it a use by or a best before?
ie does it go bad or just lose nutrients over time?

It will lose nutrients over time and could possibly go bad depending on how it's kept. In the freezer is always the best place to keep it freshest.

It's a best before date - "Mindestens haltbar bis: 10 März 2013"

To be honest the stuff is dried, Pre packaged up and probably stored for X amount of time in any event...
I can't see that it's going to make much of an impact by not using by the shelf life date.
They are only meant as a supplement/accompaniment to the diet in any event. xx
