The lost tortoise of Longvuille is home!
Amazing news my boy is home! My phone rang while I was walking round M+S this afternoon and the man on the other end said 'I'm outside your house and I have your tortoise with me.' Under an hour later the boy was walking across his enclosure straight to his house - just a little check that he really was himself. He knew where he was and where he was going - with a detour only to eat a few leaves from a tempting little plant on the way - will post picture after I download it from my camera.
Thanks to everyone for their support and good wishes - I always said that if good will could get him home he'd be there - well he is now! Last edited by suejells; 02-09-2011 at 10:22 PM. |

After the last three months when I haven't passed a day without thinking about what might be happening to Lucy and trying to think about what else I could do to get him home - and fearing there was nothing. I really feel for the agonies of all of us still grieving for lost tortoises - and thinking about what else might help the system/s of tracking them down...
