i think tortoise's are easyier to look after than dogs once you have the housing set up right

I find it quite amazing that it also said more people keep cats than dogs. Over 2 million more cats than dogs!!! I do find my tortoise takes less time to look after than my dog. But I also think more hassle with the weeds and baths and fussy eating and heat and lights. My dog eats pants and drinks puddles. Soooo not fussy. But a reptile doesn't go out of it's way to please you and cheer up you when you are sad. There is an ancient bond between man and dog that I think no animal with ever replace. X

housin situations and work make many people choose different pets also dogs were kept because they were need for a certain job not just pets they had a use u cant beat dogs as a pet tho after all they are mans best friend even if they do chew ur shoes

Yeah i had a Dog pleasuring itself on my leg once, left a mental scare. i can hadle a Tortoise on the shoe.

Ha ha ha ha. Least a tortoise won't leave as big bruises!
We did it right had Fezzik snipped at 6 months. Not even seen so much as his lip stick. Guess he'll always be a toddler x
