Owen is the orphaned hippo, mzee the elderly galapagos tortoise. Owen now has a girlfriend called Cleo, so the friendship isn't as it once was but they are still found together at times. I bought the book that the park sells all about their friendship, it is a very remarkable story indeed. The park is Haller park in Mombassa kenya and I thoughly recommend a visit there.

I would love to meet these chums. They are both gorgeous, and I think the story is so heartwarming.
