Another question
Well maud and mindy are finally here and what a day they have had.We settled them in at 12noon and they both explored and had a good look round there new home, they both had a good meal of weeds and at 4pm the slightly smaller mindy tucked herself away into the soil under her log tunnel, followed by maud at about 5pm,for such tiny babies they seem so active and daring as they climbed over pebbles and suchlike. My question is what time should i turn off there heat bulb and uv light.

Lights should be on for 12-16 hours a day. Usually 12 is fine, but if overwintering then it may be better to have the lights on a bit longer. You need to trick them into thinking that it's still summertime so they remain active
