Default New Tort

I was just wondering when i bought my tort back in November my riend also bought one but i am going to be taking this one on aswell. Both torts have been living on their own since Nov and have both been wormed etc. Does this count s the quarenteen period as they have both been living alone and not been in contact with other torts?

I personally would still quarrentine, but others advocate its ok. At the end of the day you take
on all the advice, and choose what to do. You also have to take on any concquences too<g>.

Yeah that is fair enough i just asumed seeing as the tort is being kept how i keep mine and basically being quarrentined but at my friends house i asumed that would be ok, i have sen the tort on a regular basis - more than 2 times a week - so i am quite up on the behaviour of the tort.

Also when i introduce them what is the best way to do it - i was planning to do it out of the enclosure by giving them a bath, is this ok or would another way be best?

ill probably get slated for saying this, i wouldnt quarantine in this situation, they'be both been alone for ages, and both have been wormed, youve seen both and both are healthy, why would quarantine be nesaccary in this situation????

I agree, they should be fine together now, if both are well in health then there shouldnt be a problem, i would just put them together outside when you introduce them they will come together and hoefully it will be like they have been together for ever, good luck and keep intouch with what happens.
