Ha ha i started with 3 and ended up with 8 the good thing is they all get on with each other, the one thing i will say is give them a good varied diet they love house flies which you can hatch yourself, all i did was to go to my local fishing shop and buy a few maggots and put about 10 in some small pots (yogurt pot with a bit of clingfilm over the top) put a bit of moss or something in it for them to bury into poke a few holes in the top and in about then days or so you will see them start to hatch and come out if you fill a pot every 5 days you will get good supplies of cheap food also if you can put the ones you are not using in the fridge they will last ages

That's a great tip Turnip! Thank you! We went and met them and had a little hold today, I am in love!! There were two green and on browny one. They know one is male as theyhear him calling out. They are going to see if they can work out which one it is so I get him. I hope to have both the green ones. Feel bad about leaving one littlefella on his own.....wonder if hubby will notice me spending more money so not to leave him in the shop alone???

I'm sure they would do a deal as it would be a pain for them to keep one
