Rabbit update
After my posting about possibly introducing another rabbit to ours after her sister died we have had a pretty busy week. I started to do lots of research and was starting to think that it was impossible. I decided to email our local rabbit rescue. They were fantastic and said that if we took our rabbit with us they would help us to select and introduce a suitable companion.
During the week our rabbit began to stress as she was alone, she became very depressed and just lolled around. She also started to pull the fur out of her paws. It was so sad to see, so we decided we had to give it a go. So today we packed her up and went to the rescue. They confirmed that she is female and put her in an enclosure with other bunnies. She could not have cared less. We ended up choosing two beautiful baby rabbits. Our original rabbit became more alert, her ears went up for the first time in a week and she started to hop around. The rescue said that this sometimes happens with good natured rabbits. They have spent all day together and not had a single fight. We have had a little kicking of bedding, but I have found her cuddled up to both of the new ones on a few occasions and she genuinely seems happy So we have two new additions to the family. A beautiful dwarf chocolate dutch male, who will be having the chop in a few weeks, and his sister who is a very cute dwarf black dutch with a slightly bushy head. My sons have called the chocolate one Chomp and the black one Stomp. Fingers crossed they stay a happy little group |

That is good you have found her new friends, sounds like she would have just made herself ill on her own!

That is fantastic news. So glad the rescue helped you, and I am sure that if there are any problems they will help you again.
