Giant Tortoise Jigsaw
If you have a This Is It store near to you they are selling very high quality 1000 piece jigsaws atm of various animals, they are to do with BBC Earth which I think was a wildlife series, I got the Giant Tortoise one and it crossed my mind that these would make a fab Mothers Day pressie and only cost £2.99 which is a bargain as I think that was 70% off or something!

I will let you know how I get on with it! I like a challenge though, I did a 500 piece one the other evening in 5 hours, my sister started hers the same evening and only did the edge! I like the wasgij ones as well, they really test your ability I think!

Thanks for sharing that. My kids love doing 1000 piece jigsaws so this will be perfect for them.

That's a shame, we don't have any of those stores near us. We love doing jigsaws, gets the kids off the computer.

I had the same jigsaw for Christmas but mine only had 500 pieces so I was able to do it fairly quickly 1000 pieces would be much more difficult!

we had a great 10000 million trillion piece jigsaw that was half finished and one day the cats were chasing each other and skidded on it and broke it up into another million pieces so we put it in the bin, cant even think what the picture was of now

I'd be pulling my hair out if that happened! The thought of starting all over again would be sickening so I can see why you just binned it.
