AVATARS
Can someone explain to me how to get an avatar to appear beneath my posts. I have downloaded a few different ones from the net, made sure they are within the size limits etc but when i try to upload them through profiles i get a page of error messages and then nothing.

Hi Linda
Unfortunately I'm none the wiser, I think there was too much beer involved in that thread and no answers to the problem. I now realise though that the avatar should appear under your name on the left hand side of the page where it states if you are an egg etc. If thats correct how did you get your oblong picture with your name etched in it to appear under your post? Just when you think youre getting good with computers someone creates something new to baffle us!! Tony

Thanks Peter
I'll persevere a bit longer but no doubt in the end I'll do what you suggest.

I'm not very computer literate, but as you said the avitar is under your name, to get a picture like our oblong ones they are signatures, think there's a button for that in your 'profile' above.
You probably knew this anyway!!! lol

Hi
Thanks for the tip but I can't find a button for signatures. what i've been trying to do is copy and paste but when i try to paste the command is faded out and nothing happens. Perseverance. that's a good word

There isn'y a button for signatures theres a box in your profile area where you enter it. Looks like you managed it I see a signature after your name.
