Oh wow now that is amazing. What brilliant news Darren. They weren't out of there usual pattern then, you had just missed them. A very special little hatchling. I wonder if there will be more to come yet.

That's nuts - I can't believe it successfully incubated in an enclosure. Just goes to show how good yours are!

Great Darren that is so natural, you must be over the moon to know you have created an outside enviroment that the tort feels at home in. . Does that mean it was a FREE RANGE EGG .Well done

Paul itwas the indoor enclosure not outdoors , far to cold this time of year to hatch eggs outside , I doubt that the UK weather would ever be consistant enough temp wise to incubate naturally outside anyway, but these longer warmer summers we have well you never know.

There was a post recently on one of the groups where someone had found a hatchling in the greenhouse, not sure how recent this find was maybe someone else read it and can fill in the details !!
