Your worst Christmas present
I know we have done this before, but let's remind our selves . What was your worst ever Christmas present . Mine was a collunder ( spelling, not sure if that's right ) a few years ago , I was speechless, luckily the giver wasn't there.

Always got her return pennies on her bottles though..... Memories ....priceless.

Mine was a fish kettle and it was the same shape as a collector's doll so I was very disappointed when I opened it despite having to look pleased as it was from my late mum-in-law.

A hostess trolley. Very 1960s for me.
I am far to informal for that sort of home dining. The worst thing was the build up to this amazing surprise with people gathered round all waiting for my enthusiastic and ecstatic reaction. Fortunately it was 'amazing', 'unbelievable'. I have never done this with a present before but I used it once when my generous givers came for dinner and then sold it. I still feel guilty now, but I knew I would never use it.

nice one maddz, I would wrap it up and send it as an engagement present if it lasts that long. There is a chip missing in some people I think...quote Jennifer aniston. CB
