The same thing happened to my German shepherd cross collie. Neighbour took him for a walk one day and never brought him back. My mum told me he went to live on a farm. I still miss him sometimes, sleep well Bruce.

When I was little and my budgie fell off its perch, I was told it had broken its leg and needed to go to a special hospital where budgies have special wheelchairs! I just went along with it, despite knowing it was crap, as it was preferable to arguing the toss with my parents. I knew my dad broke its neck and it haunted me for ages.
