hiya, thought i would share some pics of my hissing cockroaches.....brought them when i was 12 and expected them to live a 1 or 2.....andway ther enow over 5 years and have bred 4 times. these are brillant pets and so dam cute.

hope you like the pics......
took them as i was cleaning them out.

They look a bit creepy - but I will admit that I love their colouring.

WAY too close Christian, next time could you take the pictures from the other side of the room, I just nearly spilled my soup in my lap

thanks both of you............they have great colouring. these really are sweet and more better to handle thats ome of the other spiece sof cockroaches....espically ones with wings, bloddy u get them out and then u spead 20 mins looking for the ones that flew away.

seriously when you see these in real life there awesome. i used to keep a coleny of about 200 woodlice and thought they were ace (was 4 at the time) so when i had these i was over the moon.

will ahve babies later this year so if anyway is interested

yeh it has a nice red colour on it's back but no wayyyy would i touch it!! or let it in the house

you should go an live where they film im a celebrity get me out of here. its my worst nightmare (appart from the rats! bloody biggins!! )

i reckon you would be in paradise with all those manky bugs all over u

i wud love to do that....apart from some of the trials...i mean i COULD eat the food they had but i wud rather take it and keep it as a pet lol.also some of the animals are treated abit cruelly on there, like gluing shut the caiman mouths so they can't bite and such.

but yea that wud be awesome . lol
