Do Sulcatas need pinkies

Been reading on a few threads recently of owners feeding pinkies to redfoots .Do Sulcatas need this kind of protein Judy

Neither need to be fed animal protein if the diet is already balanced. They do come across animal protein in the wild and do consume it but it is more of an opportunity than a need. In captivity they are hopefully getting the balance they need from either good variety or good formulation of nutrition.

Focusing on any one particular nutritional component usually leads to deficiencies in other areas. They do need protien for good growth but they also need an equal balance of the other components of nutrition.

no they don't , a high fibre diet is ideal for them
