Table lining
I wanted to line my table with some sort of plastic to make cleaning it easier and stop any substrate getting out and wondered if a shower curtain would be safe? I haven't been able to find any definite information on whether certain plastics were unsafe or not. I need to screw battens around the top of the table for the lid to sit on (I have cats and a 3 year old who loves teenage mutant ninja turtles at the moment!) so will most likely secure the plastics edge under those but if not, what type of glue would be safe to use?
Thanks |

Hi, i agree with Linda on the stronger stuff , if you can find a piece larger than the table, unscew the battens fold it in and up the sides, allow it slightly slack, and replace the battens to hold the liner in place.
Some of the Diy shops, sell heavy duty decorater's plastic sheet, the type to cover suites and tables.
