In theory you shouldn't need anything else if you use a UVB bub. Just a lamp stand.

The tort will get all he needs with a good combined bulb.
I do recommend the Arcadia if you are looking for a good one. The combined bulb screws into the holder...the holder is attached to the INSIDE of the dome. The dome has a lead which has a plug at the end...then you plug in to your surge protected socket ..and that is plugged into the main socket in the wall...BING - lights ahoy. xx |

You have to use a ceramic holder for UVB bulbs because they get hot... most people like a reflector as well to direct the heat downwards... the simplest way to do this is buy one that is all singing and dancing and ready to go. Like in the links I have given you. Have a look around like Rach says though there are plenty on the market. If you decide to purchase from Surrey ring them to make sure the bits and pieces you have chosen are correct, as previously stated they were very helpful
