Hi all,

I'm Olly, 14 years old and I've currently got two Spur thigh ibera, both two years old. Frankie and Agnes. On Wednesday I'll be getting another two from a breeder so am really looking forward to that!

I've had tortoises since 2013, feed a natural weed diet, have two indoor tortoise tables and large outdoor enclosure - will try and upload photos soon. Am on all the facebook tort groups but it's nice to have a forum to go to.

I set up the Berkshire tortoise club end of last year along with another co founder, really impressed with the turnout we had at our open day in April and now have monthly meetings - next one is September 1st, in Emmer Green, Berkshire on hibernation if any of you are interested!

Believe there's another member from Berks tort club on here. Our main aim is to promote tortoise welfare in captivity through our monthly meetings and club events. Website is here : berkshiretortoiseclub.weebly.com

One thing I haven't done before is hibernation, am hopefully hibernating my guys this year using the fridge method if vet check goes well. So if any of you have tips and advice on that all would be gratefully received.
