Hello, I've often browsed this site to get useful information, but decided it was time to register and say hi.
I have two torts a 2year old Horsfield and a 4 year old Greek spur thigh, and a couple of poodle and a couple of kitties.
Look forward to getting to know you all

Thanks for the lovely welcome, I would love a few more kitties, but the OH he says twos enough. Look forward to posting more on here, and letting you all see Tobias and Mrs lovett (the torts) soon.

I shall find out how to do it, and take some pictures, I must explain Mrs lovetts name, I had two horsfields S'weeny todd and Mrs lovett, I always thought they looked like little pies , but sadly I lost S'weeny a few weeks ago, he was never a healthy tortoise sadly and although I tried with the vet for months to do everything we could, tube feeding antibiotic injections and around the clock care, he just never recovered enough, sadly we made the desicion to have him pts, we think it was because when I got the two horsfeilds their worm burden was so high , that him being smaller had a huge detrimental impact on his immune system. And by the time I got them and took them to the vets to worm them we think the damage was already done with him. But we tried hard to save him, but it just wasn't enough

So he rests under my rockery with a little tortoise statue, finally at peace.
But Mrs Lovett the other horsfield who the vet thinks is female (jury is still out on that one) is so healthy and growing well.
And Tobias my 4 year old Greek he's just a rampaging mionster with so much character. He makes me laugh everyday.
