guide dog
my daughter has given me full permission for me to post this
over the past few months my youngest daughter kathryn who is registered blind has been undertaking appointments and screening with the guide dog association this is to assess if she will gain by having a guide dog so far everything is going well and it is looking promissing that kathryn will be able to have a helping dog how ever she has a new test coming up in the next couple of weeks she is not sure if she is going to pass this test she can not stop laughing her assessoe is meeting kathryn at her flat she will take the dog lead in her left hand the assessoe takes the collar stands to kathryns left hand side and stops talking he then pretend to be the dog kathryn and pretend dog will then catch a bus and travel to quite a busy shopping center on a main high street kathryn has to negotiate the road the traffic the people etc etc by giving the pretend dog the correct signals hand signals clapping her own hip etc etc it can not be done verbally the pretend dog wont do anything unless kathryn gives the correct signals picture this my daughter aged 21 leading a much older man by a dog lead down the high street which does have quite a few pubs kathryn i presume will be bright red with embarrassement & laughing im not sure wether the man will be glowing with embarresment or pale with fright |

How could she not laugh, it is a very bizarre test and i just hope her pretend dog does not stop to water a lamppost. Wish her good luck from me and i hope she passes and receives her doggy helper shortly.

I don't think he would get away with doing any business on a lamp post
