I don't know about wanting just 1 Bindi - I think it would be best to keep 2 ........ just need to convince Jason - how weird though we were only talking about that on Saturday !!!
How lovely Ali - let us know how many you have got and then let us all fight over them!!! |

just an update on the babes, all three are doing great. i cleaned the mums house out a little yesterday and she was happy to be away fr the babies for 5 minutes to get some attention and cockroaches. so i got the chance to catch a quick snap. there is only one baby on this pic as the other 2 are hiding away in some blankets. it looks like one is the same colour as dad and the other 2 are paler in colour lke their mum.
AND....i went to check on them all this morning and i found another 3 babies in with my other female. I have come to the deffinite conclusion that Barry and the kids are incapable of telling my hedgies apart and in future i will be getting help in if i go away for the weekend. so i now have 9 hedgehogs......!

i dont know about lucky.....its so hard tryimg to keep the kids away from the reptile room. and i also found a dead baby that mum had killed before aswell. just goes to show how easy it can go wrong. so i am not sure if there si still 3 new babies or if there WAS 4 and now is just 3. either way i just hope the ones left survive. and The kids admitted that the hedgehogs had all been on the floor together. and barry said he hadnt seen them "getting jiggy". so i asked what hedghehogs getting jiggy looked like.....well, i cant believe i married that man. he thought that hedgehogs did it missionary position (because of the spikes.....) so assumed that they would not be pregnant from palying piggy backs. he is 46 years old and has a degree in biology. and i am suitable ashamed of him!

Gosh that little boy has been busy - I cant wait to see more pics - how long do they feed from their mother? Have you seen what colours the other 3 are.
You are definately going to have your hands full now. |
