Aldabra tortoises - Page 3

I have some pics of the galopogas (SP?) from busch gardens in flrodia, will try and dig the pics out and post them later..

Chester zoo also had an Aldabran called Freddy who died at 175 years old , after his death he was sent for a pm (post mortem)and his date of capture waas engraved on his plastron , not full up on the whole story but will ask at work when i'm back.

Thats awful did no one know untill the pm? I can only assume you would not have much call to turn a huge tort over to look unless you really needed to? Nor be able to! Do you know what a tort that size and age weighs? Nicky
