Advice on buying a new Tortoise please!

Hi all

I have been thinking for a while of buying a tortoise and have looked on many websites for advise on caring and looking after them- I am thinking a Horsfield or Hermann. Whilst looking I cannot seem to find any breeders in my area for help advice and then subsequent purchase? Does anyone know of anyone local to me - I am in Somerset? Where should I go?

really so am i how strange is that .
i know there are a few breeder in bridgy that post there babies online from time to time ..
but at the moment there is nothing about .
have u tryed sanders in burnham they sell uk cb torts well they did last time i went for £145..
u would have to ask to see cert to be sure b4 buying ..ill keep my eyes out .
