Default out side enclosure

HI, I would like to put some heat in my outside enclosure have not got a greenhouses all i have got is a cold frame' I don't think i can put heat in that ..

If you put the coldframe well off the ground, on brieze blocks or the like. It can raise it enough
to allow you to put a lamp in. I know a few keepers that have done this, and it works well.
You just have to get it high enough to be able to do it.

sandy, where are cold frames sold, or do you have to make your own
ive seen them used by the ************ on one of their dvds

I got mine from lidl- it was only £10 and my torts love it (I have cut a door out, and just leave it so that they can have the sunlight coming through) because they have their shed witht he heat lamp in for basking.

Hi Jackie

I got my coldframes from B&Q but unfortunatly I dont think they stock them any more.
They are made by Halls so you could probably find them on the net. The coldframes shaped
like greenhouses, do give you the extra height.

This one is exactly the same as mine, but just from google:

I took the lid off and put perspex over the top, because it is clear, and it didn't open enough for me to get the torts out when i was bathing them (they always fall asleep in it)
