Hi Sammy,
What are those purple flowers you have put in there and where did you get them from? Did you grow those yourself or buy them as we are a bit worried about buying flowers from say B&Q as they may have been treated with something? |

Hi, its a Campanula and I got it from Homebase, you can buy seeds of it and grow yourself but I never seem to have any luck growing my own plants I think the SW shop may sell the campanula seeds but haven't checked in a long time. I've never had a problem with plants from Homebase being sprayed with anything, but if you're worried you could always ask at your local one before you buy.

I buy pansies etc from garden centres when they're on offer or end of season and either wash them or wait for a second crop of flowers to feed. We drowned our campanula before putting it in the tables.
You're right to think about it though, but Sammy has no choice, she kills green things :-p
