Default McIntyre Ration for horsfileds

Our friends went to the vet and he used the jacksons so they were told she was obese. not the case...

My horsfield comes out above the 'high' scale :s

The McIntyre chart is used for Horsfields and the Jackson chart is for Hermanns

not sure what you mean but I'm guessing your friend has a horsfield and the vet used the jackson ratio?

Thats what I thought...As I said above Horsfield use the McIntyre chart and Hermanns use the Jackson chart. Using the incorrect chart would give you the wrong guide for weight.

Jacksons ratio still works for Russians. That other ratio is based on captive animals... not accurate.

Is there a McIntyre or Jackson chart for Tunisian Spur Thighs?
