Default Leopard Tortoises Bedding in shed

Hi,

I am quite new to this forum and and looking for advice. I have two leopard tortoises about 16 years old. I am in the process of building an outdoor shed for them which is about 5m x 3m. It's fully insulated with 40mm celotex. The floor will have lino on it, but need to decide on bedding. They will have a hot box area also. I have tried various types before shavings, flax, bark. But it all dries out and gets really dusty. I have seen the natural bark mixes from such places as the tortoise shop, but I will need a lot to cover the floor space, as you can't seem to buy it in big bags.

One of them likes to dig a lot.

Any advice welcomed

Thanks for reading.

Emily
