Plastron issue

Today Mango turned upside down and we could see there are two worn patches underneath. What should I do? They have Arcadia 160W uvb in the day and cheramic heat which is on 24/7. Eating like pigs pellets and lawn grass and making love every day. Could those be worn because he needs more calcium? How shall we treat those patches, shall I treat the patches with F10 to prevent contamination maybe?

nasty looking cracks as well.

They were probably high spots and could very well have worn the spot with mating. It did wear through to the bone and it looks like it has healed but now the dead bone has come out (leaving the holes). It it doesn't smell than I'd just keep the area clean.

When I first got Sid my (stud muffin!

) male Marginate he too had an area right in the middle of his belly that was like this. I was very worried as he also seemed to have a blueish/purple line running through it. My vet called it a "mating lesion" I bathed him each day & gently scrubbed that area with a babies hair brush & F10. It didn't become infected & gradually got better.

Thank you for reassuring comments. He does not look much bothered, and I will make sure he is clean all the time and I will dub the raw places with some F10. She is going to hate this smell. Would it be better to separate them until he healed his wounds? How soon can he grow back his protective ceratine coat? He loves to back and the table is reasonably dry.
