Thats great news, lets hope the powers widen their nets further and catch more of these unscruplous traders.

Does anyone now what the maximum penalty? I guess he is unlikely to get the maximum, but it's good news all the same. Looking forward to the 28th Jan to hear the result!

1 of my Torts came from there and she really was in a sorry state when I got her. I'm so pleased that something has been done.

I bought Tommy from him and I live locally. Stupidly I didnt research the company before I went to pick Tommy he said they were all captive bred so I assumed he bred them, only when I read the CITES certificate does it say he was captive bred but imported from Turkey.

mine had cuts and scabs all over her head, coldn' open her eyes properley and weakness in her back legs. Thankfuly now she is just beautiful and no health problems since.
Like you I really thought I'd done my research how wrong I was. Can't express how happy I am this has happned. When I recieved my tort I was not happy with her health numerous phone calls to his man to ask for help his reply was send her back and I'll give her some anti b's or you can have your money back. I couldn't send her back to that or in the ting tiny box that she arrived in no bigger than a hard back book! |
