I think 'orbs' are spirits that haven't found their way to the next level, some are lost and some don't want to go.
Orbs are anomalies that allow us to see the spirit energy. I had the honour of seeing one in the kitchen years ago when my eldest boys were very young. It was almost surreal and so peaceful and it was the size of a tennis ball. I felt it was my late father-in-law as he often visited back then. It was a very special moment.

I believe that animals have souls. I also believe they have dreams and many animals are far more spiritual than us humans could ever hope to be.

Is this the sort of 'spirit energy' that can be acquired from a few glasses of the finest single malt (Lagavulin perhaps) emma mcraf?

Just because you you don't believe doesn't mean you should mock those who do. Would you mock a devout Muslim, Christian, Catholic in this way?

If I hadn't seen and experienced paranormal activity I'd be a skeptic too but I've seen, heard and felt an awful lot. It's not my imagination, wishful thinking or drug or alcohol induced. Your comments are like water off a duck's back. You are of course entitled to your opinion and I don't blame you for having doubts if you've never experienced spirit.
I am a great believer and am so thankful for the experiences I've had.

Oh dear pagan queen, you seem to have misunderstood - i was being playful.

Easily done though, and it could be that i have also misunderstood the discussion, because i thought it was lighthearted and somewhat jokey, after all there are a couple of dozen smileys scattered throughout (excluding my own).

Had i realised that all are engaged in a deeply theological discourse regarding the nature of reality and belief then i may have chosen to weigh in with a more philosophically considered post.

How fortunate that there are those here who are sufficiently well qualified to remind me that the devout must be treated with appropriate sensitivity, lest they are offended.
