oh no you poor thing. You shouldn't get worked up about it all as sounds like its all ok, especially if putting on weight. If you think soil is too dusty then spray everyday , I do it twice a day sometimes also as the torts love it. Don't cry, I am sure you are doing really well with it and suspect you are still feeling a bit poorly yourself. CB

Charlie, come back to us wont you so we know you are ok.

Coco coir is good also, it is a soil made from coir from the coconut but will still need a spray. Your tortoises are well loved and real little Sweetie pies. CB

Don't worry Charlie, we will help you get it right, like CB has just said spray each day to keep the dust down , but also water and give it a good mix 2/3 times a week, just don't make it too wet. Please don't worry , it will all be fine, keep asking questions, and tell us what you're doing and how they are. It will be fine.

Charlie I am so sorry to hear how you are feeling. Remember you have been doing a great job. From the earlier posts we could all see they were better with you. They are pretty tough remember. Your mum sounds wonderful and what more could they want than to be fed and watered - and all the other things we try to do of course.

I remember when I had my first puppy, I was such a fusspot and ended up in tears. Of course he had me wrapped round his little paw. Torts haven't made me cry yet, but I'm a bit better with animals these days.

Good luck.
