Default Bam

i thought while he was active (extremely rare for him) i wud take a few pics of him. this is bam, one of my treefrogs. he is a whites tree frog and is about 6 years old now. had him from a froglet. he is very very boring and lazy. sleeps for 23.5 hours aday, the other 30 mins he will have a poo,wee and eat and then sleep. like any male i surpose lol he is actually lovely despite him doing sod all. also he is scared of water full stop. he is also the first treefrog to ever be wormed by hannah.

an older pic of him. he also apeared on the front page of the stoke on trent paper the sential.

whites are one of the easier tree frogs to look after......u do really have to be careful witht the advice form books and the net as there extermly wrong about almost all of the husbandary. they grow into nice big frogs and only need a smallish tank to live as they don't really move. u just need to watch the weight with these as they tend to live short lives in the wid due to over eatting.

he is fed 5 large crickets and 3 locusts a week. if u read up on american size they reckonment feeding them mice and lots of live foods. 5 years is the average in most countries for these tree frogs because they like to see them extremely fat...which is cruel and wrong, the ebst way to check if he is over weight is to look at the fat rolls by there ear drums, if the fat is over 3/4's covering the ear drum then there too fat.

if u are just courious or actually interested in getting one i have a care guide written up on them.
