Hiya Laura!
I too suffer really badly. I have done since i was a small child, even to the extent of getting nosebleeds from it. I take antihistamines, which work for about half the day, but i also use beconase nasal spray, as you can use this with the tablets. You can buy it over the counter in pharmacies. I find it really helpful. I also wear sunglasses as much as possible, use eye drops when necessary, otrivine. Hope this helps! If you have tried all these things without success, there is an injection available through your gp.

Hi
I have suffered since I was tiny too.. I always sleep with a window open at night... have a fan / air con in my room and have a bowl of water in the room too which helps with humidity. I take Ciretizine (sp?) once a day - but occasionally twice a day if needed. HTH. |

Yeah, it's true, the honey thing works but you need to have it a month before hayfeaver season. so it's a bit late now. And then again before tree pollen season if you suffer with that.
Really sorry to hear you're suffering. kinda ruins the summer. I take anti heyfeaver tablets everyday which seem to work. and a spray of beconaze if my nose and eyes are hurting.

Honey is great as long as its local, also a room that the windows are always shut and has an ioniser (you can buy one from boots for £20 is a life saver if you are really bad. we are also experimenting with not putting tops on the washing line to see if that helps

I'm a tree pollen girl. Tried most of the major tablets - piriton, zirtek etc but none quite sorted me out.
Nasonex nose spray is the only one that seems to work. Plus we're waiting for fertility treatment and antihistamines can affect it. The doc told me that nasonex is the only one that i should take if needed.... Plus I can't stand the taste of honey - I can tell if my OH has snuck some into my food! |

Hi Laura
I take prescribed tabs all year round now (no immune system due to diabetes) Ive started using no-sor nose balm which is better than vasaline for the nose, also try viscotears liquid gel for your eyes its quite expensive compared to other drops , but worth it Boo |

ooo ooo ooo - forgot to say (you reminded me Babyboo)
Happynose is the best!! You can get it from the chemist. Petroleum jelly combined with menthol (to clear your nose) and geranium oil (to soothe the sore skin) Bliss !!!! |
