Some of us with gallstones can't have pancakes this year. Not that I am a great lover of them but deprivation is bound to bring on cravings and if I have to eat much more salad I'll be competing with the torts for basking room. Oh for a nice bacon sarnie.

I luuurve pancakes! But my favourite topping has to be orange with lots of sugar and closely followed by strawberry jam! I see they are having adverts now with Delia telling people how to make pancakes. You can pick up the recipe card from Waitrose What nex? They will be teaching people how to make beans on toast!

Noticed in Asda, they had a plastic bottle with a small amount of the dried ingredients in, add milk and shake for 2 min's let stand and pour into a pan.
Makes upto four thin pancakes. No good for me, what next a self tossing machine.
